PM8 can print a graphic or 'logo' at the top of your reports, either a small square graphic or a full width graphic. This article describes the configuration for the graphics.
PM8: All versions
PM8 has 3 options for the logo at the top of reports.
The first option is when there is no graphic printed in the header and only the header details are printed.
The second is a small square placement of the graphic on the left of the report header, and all other header details are shifted right to accommodate it.
The third is where a graphic takes the full width of the report and the header details about your company that would normally be printed are omitted (You include these in your graphic).
To configure this, you must tell PM8 which option to use for the report header and you must load an appropriate graphic.
To change the report header style, you change the application parameter Report header style
to be:

to save. When you create a graphic, it must have the same height and width.
Ensure the graphic is an appropriate size using the follow calculations:
Let’s choose 300 dpi for the resolution and work out how wide the image needs to be.
25mm is 25/25.4 inches = 0.984 inches.
300 dpi * 0.984 inches = 295 pixels wide (and the same height because it must be square).
The graphic is rendered 190 mm high (for portrait reports) and the maximum height of the image is 30mm.
Ensure the graphic is an appropriate size using the follow calculations:
Let’s choose 300 dpi for the resolution and work out how wide the image needs to be.
190mm is 7.48 inches (Yes, the internals of Windows and also print resolutions are still measured in inches!)
300 dpi * 7.48 inches = 2244 pixels wide.
The maximum height of the image is constrained by the ratio 30/190 (maximum 30mm high, and width is 190mm)
2244 (width) * 30 / 190 = 354 (maximum height).
So, if the image is 2244 wide, it’s maximum height is 354.
When you load the graphic is it checked and if the proportions exceed the allowed ratio of 30/190 then the graphic will not be loaded.
