The pinning shown on jobs (Pinning report, on-screen pinning etc) is not correct.
PM8: All versions
If you print a job pinning report and the pinning is not correct, it is likely this is because the job makes a 'snapshot' of the pinning and keying at the time the job is released to manufacturing, and you have subsequently changed the coding or keying.
The incorrect job pinning happens when you release a job to manufacturing before the keying and coding is correct.
At the time that the job is released to Manufacturing required status, a copy of the keying for each door on the order is created, and also a copy of the pinning for each door on the order. All subsequent operations on the job, such as viewing keying, printing manufacturing reports, exporting to machines etc uses the keying and pinning snapshot.
This is import so that a change to the door's keying does not alter historical orders. Key codes are not included in the snapshot because they are considered immutable.
If you release the job to manufacturing when the coding and keying is not correct, then you will produce an incorrect snapshot of the data.
Old jobs and jobs from legacy software imports
The behaviour described above about how the job snapshot is created is not applicable to jobs that were created in very old versions of ProMaster Master-Keying (Job snapshots have produced from PM7 starting in June 2008) and also not applicable to jobs imported from legacy master-keying products as part of a data migration.`
Identify the door on the pinning report that is incorrect. Then have a look at the 'live' pinning information:

for manufacturing they may be produced with incomplete coding and also to use them for manufacturing instead of using a job produces no job history.
Aside from fixing the job snapshot, it is to understand what steps you took so you can avoid the problem in the future. Did you:
Having identified that the 'live' pinning is correct and that the job pinning is not correct, you must return the job to data entry and the release the job to manufacturing. When the job is returned to data entry the snapshot is discarded and when the job is released to manufacturing a new snapshot of the keying and pinning is created.

.Recheck the job pinning report to verify the new pinning is what you are expecting.
