You require signatory authority on jobs except when it is the first job on each system.

PM8 applies the signatory rules defined for the system when you release a job to manufacturing.
If the system signatory configuration states for example that two signatories are required for a job, then that rule is checked for complience when the job is released.
If you operate in a manufacturing environment where the initial order on each system does not require signatory authorisation you can change the PM8 behaviour to permit the first job to be without signatories.
