When exporting a system from PM8 to Excel, if you have turned on the "Key Stamping" field in the PM8 Application Parameters, you may need templates that have a place for the key stamping
This article is about downloading additional templates with key stamping.
You will also need to make your own Excel Export Definition in PM8.
The values you need to set after making a new definition are:
Key stamping = L7, Key Description = L12.
PM8: All versions
The PM8 installation provides two Excel templates for exporting systems to Excel format.
These templates are pre-formatted for a fixed number of doors and keys.
They do not include a place for Key Stamping as that field is seldomn used.
If you require templates with Key Stamping, you may create your own or download from the links in this article. If you make your own files it is a good idea to name them according to the size, like the ones provided with the PM8 installation.
The files installed by PM8 are:

The location of these files is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WH Software\PM8\Template
You may copy the files from that folder, rename appropriately and send to your customer for them to enter doors and keys for a new system and then import that data into PM8 to create a new system.

When you have downloaded the zip file, extract the files contained in the zip file and copy them into the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WH Software\PM8\Template
No other configuration is required. PM8 reads the files available in that folder when you perform a system export to Excel.
You will need administrative access on your computer to access the Template folder.
The pre-formatting in the Excel files and the cell protection to ensure that customers enter information only in the correct cells makes the Excel files grow significantly in size as more pre-formatting is done for doors and keys so it is a good idea to pick an appropriately sized template when exporting.
