When exporting a system from PM8 to Excel, there are two templates available.
This article is about downloading additional templates in larger sizes.
PM8: All versions
The PM8 installation provides two Excel templates for exporting systems to Excel format.
These templates are pre-formatted for a fixed number of doors and keys.
If you require a larger template, you may create your own or download from the links in this article. If you make your own files it is a good idea to name them according to the size, like the ones provided with the PM8 installation.
The files installed by PM8 are:

The location of these files is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WH Software\PM8\Template
You may copy the files from that folder, rename appropriately and send to your customer for them to enter doors and keys for a new system and then import that data into PM8 to create a new system.

When you have downloaded a PM8 system template, copy it into the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\WH Software\PM8\Template
No other configuration is required. PM8 reads the files available in that folder when you perform a system export to Excel.
You will need administrative access on your computer to access the Template folder.
The pre-formatting in the Excel files and the cell protection to ensure that customers enter information only in the correct cells makes the Excel files grow significantly in size as more pre-formatting is done for doors and keys so it is a good idea to pick an appropriately sized template when exporting.
