When using the function Calculate coding and errors you may encounter the error message:
A keyway suitable for the key sections operating door "xxx" could not be determined. Check your key section setup and check that this door is not assigned incompatible key sections.
PM8: All versions
Key section families define a family of associate key sections and keyways and which key sections operate each keyway.
PM8 uses this information to determine the best keyway for each door from the key sections of the keys assigned to that door.

If in the key section family used by your system there is no keyway that can be operated by all the keys sections assigned to operate a door then this error will be shown.
Ensure that the keyway is added to and correctly configured in the key section family.

The current keying is not possible and either the keying must be changed or key sections assigned to the keys must be changed so that the incompatible key sections are not operating the same door.
