PM7: All versions
PM7 uses the database engine Firebird version 1.5.
Microsoft Windows updates sometimes remove part or all of the Firebird version 1.5 database engine and the result is that you receive the error message when trying to log into PM7.
Upgrade to ProMaster Master-Keying 8 recommended
PM7 is a retired product. It was replaced by ProMaster Master-Keying 8 (PM8) in April 2019.
It is recommended that for future compatibility, access to support and maintenance services and latest technology you upgrade to PM8.
If this issue occurs on the PM7 server, the database files are not removed, only the database engine components required to access the database.
This is the recommended resolution. PM7 is retired and was replaced by PM8 in April 2019.
PM8 is a 100% rewrite for performance, present and future compatibility and of course oodles of new functionality.
The PM8 upgrade process reads all of your PM7 data and migrates it into the new PM8 database.
Using your PM7 installer (PM7Setup.exe), reinstall PM7.
Be sure to select the correct choices in the installer.

The following procedure refers to the location on 64 bit Windows. If you are on 32 bit Windows the substitute C:\Program Files for C:\Program Files (x86).
The commands shown must be run from an elevated command (CMD) prompt.
Download the file:

Unzip the contents of the file into to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Firebird\.
The folder structure after you finish will be:

instreg install
instsvc install
instsvc start
