When installing InstaCode on a new computer and you want to move your custom data from the old computer to the new computer.
IC: All versions from 2026
For InstaCode before 2026, see the corresponding article.
InstaCode allows users to save several types of user data; client records, master key systems, hooks locations, custom series, favourite series and series notes.
These are added to a custom InstaCode database.
To move this information to another installation, the custom database must be copied from the old computer to the new computer.
C:\ProgramData\WH Software\IC11\Custom
ICCustom.fdb to the same location on the new computer. The file will already exist on the new computer (but with no data inside it) from your new installation of InstaCode, so you will be replacing the blank file on the new computer with the one containing your data from the old computer.InstaCode must be closed on the new computer when you copy the file.
