Changing your credit card on InstaCode Live.
Card may have expired, failed or may be blocked by your bank. You may need to change your card or renew your InstaCode Live subscription manually.
From July 2024, WH Software is transitioning to using a credit card billing provider (Windcave) to store credit card details for recurring billing. This is in line with banking and credit card requirements to not store details within our systems but instead to use a certified payment gateway.
As part of the transition, and when you store a new credit card, a 0.00 transaction on your credit card may be created by Windcave to validate the credit card - this will show as "WH SOFTWARE LIMITED".

When you change your credit card details on InstaCode Live, the actions required depend on whether you are changing the credit card before it expires of if an InstaCode Live billing has failed because of an expired credit card.
For a card that has not failed, the only action required is to enter the new card details.
For a card that has failed, an additional step is required to renew your subscription. This is because InstaCode Live aggressively retry your card once it has had a number of failure attempts.
WH Software cannot make changes for you
You must log into InstaCode Live to make changes or renew the subscription. It is not possible for WH Software to do this for you.
There are numerous reasons why a credit card billing may not be successful. Here are some of those reasons:
Credit card failure reasons
a. The card has expired.
b. There was insufficient funds available on the card at the time when billing was attempted.
c. The card has been blocked by your bank because the bank suspected fraudulent transactions.
d. The card has not been enabled for international transactions, or international transactions have been turned off for your card since you first started using InstaCode Live.
e. A bank outage or processing error.
International transactions
Check with your bank if necessary to ensure that international billing is permitted on your card.
Follow these steps to update your card details.
Log into InstaCode Live
Click onMy Account
at the top, then beside My credit card details click the Change
button
If the card number has changed, remove the card by clicking Remove my credit card details
and then click the Change
button again to add a new card.
If only the expiry date or name has changed you may alter these without removing the card.
Click onMy Registrations
at the top, then on the dropdown load select Show all registrations
If you have more than one registration, click on it to select it then click the Renew
button on that line.
If your subscription is set to automatic renewal then after the renewal it will continue to be renewed automatically.
