Why can some keys not be sent to the Silca Futura?

When InstaCode sends cutting instructions to the Silca Futura, we use the on-board data in the Futura and send the cut values required for the key.
When the Futura does not have the key information then this is not possible.
Also, if InstaCode tries to send to the Futura but the key is not available on-board the Futura, please ensure that your Futura firmware is up to date.
From time to time Silca add keys to the Futura that already exist in InstaCode, but we are not aware that the key has been added to the Futura machine. If you encounter this situation, please contact us so we can amend the InstaCode data.
In some territories, the ability for the Futura to receive data from InstaCode is locked. Contact your Silca reseller to have this feature unlocked. This is not something that WH Software can do.
Some key data onboard the Futura is locked and you must get authorisation from the lock manufacturer and also from Silca to have that key data unlocked on your Futura. InstaCode cannot cut locked keys on the Futura until you get them unlocked.
