An individual product (e.g. keypad) is a part of another product unit (e.g. an alarm kit) which has sufficient stock, but not the individual product and you want to break the kit product into individual components.
Or, you have all the individual products on hand and you want to combine them into a kit product. I.e. The reverse of the alarm kit example above.

For breaking apart and combining products use Inventory Recipe.
Once an inventory recipe is created and executed, the stock quantity of associated input & output products will change accordingly. The total cost price of the output products is the same as that of the input products.
The Inventory Recipe applies only to inventory products (not a labour, miscellaneous, tool or group items).
To execute an inventory recipe you must have sufficient stock of the input products in E-TS Inventory.
Inventory drop-down menu choose Convert / Execute Recipe. Recipes window is shown.First use the
Search Type&Inventoryfields to search and check if the desired recipe already exists. If it exists, highlight the recipe, then click Select to execute the inventory recipe.
Add button.Edit Inventory Recipe window appears, enter the Recipe Description.Input, click the Add new item field. Inventory window is shown.Inventory window, find and select the input product, then enter the quantity Output, click the Add new item field.
