How to refund a customer when they return products.
E-TS: All versions
You have sold some products to a customer and they have been invoiced and paid.
Later, the customer returned the products and you have accepted them for a refund.
The refund is called a "credit note" in E-TS and can only be created from the invoice.
Settingbutton and choose
New Credit Notefrom the drop-down menu.
Credit Notewindow is shown.
Set Quantityand then enter the refund quantity for each line item.
If you are returning some or all of the goods to inventory (As opposed to discarding the product), click the
Returned to Stocktab and then choose the outlet that will receive the returned stock and the quantity to be returned.
Record the refund to clientto return the funds to the client now (e.g. Cash or Eftpos).
If you do not choose the option
Record the refund to clientthen the refund becomes a credit on the client account.
