The following ports must be open on your E3 server for incoming traffic:

If the E3 workstation is unable to connect to the server, try turning your server firewall off then test again to see if the issue is resolved - then you will be able to determine if there is a firewall issue. It is not recommentded that you leave your firewall of other than for the brief time required to test.
